Looks like Thes said the only thing that needs to be said, so I'll add this controversial statement: The 80s classics put the 70s classics to shame.

    BAN.

EARTH WIND & FIRE > the whole 80's

    A little off topic...

I think "Joy Division", would have to be the most over-rated band since "The Doors"

I do like that section 25 12" though.

where have you been? The 80's have been the new 70's since the late 90's.

Perhaps the only time this year I will concur with sadbabba (sorry, N*g*l).

But what about the "French rolled" jeans that those sick fucks wanted me to wear in Junior High? What about shoulder pads and Riley hair? Or Jordache? See, these are not really the 80s.

  • Unfortunately, the Twin Cities never had a good radio station to play their own local talent -- Cities 97 can sustain the rock acts, though. They tried but failed to operate a black classics station just recently. I don't think I've ever heard an old school set like they do down in Chicago's V103.

Ray Richardson's Back In The Day[/b] on KMOJ, man! Last time I was back home it was still going strong, Sunday nights.
