We got like $115 for it at the end of last year. I don't remember the rest of the record being all that but his version of Dased and Confused is great! Creepy sounding. I wonder if Jake gets mad royalties?

yeah, i just looked it up on popsike, there's a few over a hundred.

also i read that Jake didnt get any writing credits on Led Zeppelins version of Dazed and Confused. So i wonder if he does get any money from it, i would hope so

you know what they say, "Good composers borrow, great composers steal"
shit, if it was a producer or DJ stealing a tune, no one on here would give a fuck...just sayin'.

I heard that he gave them the song thinking it would be nothing.
He forfeited his credits and royalties.
    Bummer.

    I want this.

A classic. Brown-eyed soul (*PASUE*) at its' finest.

My copy (meaning the one I borrowed-with-no-intention-of-returning from my Mom) is beat to shit. Plaese to post an MP3 of the soul cut on there. (I can't remember the title.)

I grew up on all of these. I would've had 'em all on 8-track if my Dad didn't leave 'em in the backseat of his car that fateful summer day in '77.

That Soundtracks is a tough pull. I was in on that auction - you definitely back up your bidding with a little more weight than me!

I was pretty thrilled to find that the first two Silver Apples LP's had miraculously avoided being stolen from my radio station, still in the library after 35 years, so I get to play them (and burn em), if not own them.

    My weekend finds:
Heptones - Studio One Legends - Trenchtown
    Malo - Ascension - WB
Francoise Hardy - Alone - Reprise
Steve Miller Band - Children of the Future - Capitol
    Johnny Clarke & Delroy Wilson - Lover's Rock V.2 - Charlie's of Brooklyn
Perry & Kingsley - Kaleidoscopic Vibrations - Vanguard
United States of America - S/T - Columbia
    Brian Auger's Oblivion Express - S/T - RCA
Rascals - The Island of Real - Columbia
The Pretty Things - Let Me Hear the Choir Sing - Edsel
    Sergio Mendes & Brazil 77 - Vintage '74 - Bell
Paul Mauriat - The Soul of - Philips
Syndicate of Sound - Rumours - Bell 45
[/b]And at a yard sale yesterday, I got minty copies of Meters - Fire on the Bayou[/b] and an OG John Coltrane - Giant Steps[/b] for fifty cent apiece.
