    yes, but you see, i kept billy brooks b/c it brought me prestige and fame vis a vis ownership of said wallpiece.

    hell up in harlem disappeared quickly b/c it brought nothing but the smells of mildew and 25 years of mold. if the mold had collected in such a fashion to resemble the figure of the virgin mary, i would have no doubt kept the record for the same reasons as the billy brooks record.

    therefore, my thesis- billy brooks-windows of the mind = virgin mary carved in a hunk of vermont cheddar cheese = prestige and fame.

    I'm TRYING (emphasis on the "try") to clean out a few hunnid LPs before I move but even though I've pulled shit out, I don't know what the best way to dump a ton of shit is. Ebay is the obvious choice but ugh, who wants the headache?

    Believe me - if I was dumping Monguito (or even "Hell Up In Harlem") heat, I'd holla at Chris about it but this is shit like...NM- copies of Brian Auger albums.

    I met a kid last night at a party who works at a local youth center. They've got a radio station, and he's always on the lookout for records to build their library. If you've got extras and want to get rid of them as a donation, I'll look into how we could give him this stuff.

    Do the show/stoop sale. Save your time. How many are we talking here? 200? At five a piece, if you sell half, you've got five large.

    Based on what you're describing you should be glad to get $500 for a bunch of crap like that.
