June 16 GET TOGETHER featuring KEB DARGE[/b]Get Together goes out with a bang! Once a monthly stalwart venue to hear anything from Afrofunk to 70s soul, boogie, deep funk and Brazillian rhythms, Get Together is throwing their last party (ever?) at Djangos on Peachtree St. featuring the one and only, Legendary DJ Keb Darge. Keb played to nearly an empty room at Djangos last year despite being arguably the most well known funk DJ in the world. Hopefully this party will show Keb the love that he deserves. DJ Soulfinger opens. Djangos, 497 Peachtree St. 10pm until late.June 17 RHYTHM & BOOZE[/b]Tim Lawrence's Rhythm & Booze monthly should need no introduction to Atlantans at this point. This month, Tim welcomes guest DJ Captain Indigo (Brian Phillips). El Myr, 1091 Euclid Ave. 10pm untilJune 24 SURE SHOT[/b]Sure Shot expanded to the 2nd and 4th Saturday of each month at Octane in May, and the 4th Saturday features a broader music policy - you won't know what you'll hear next! DJs T1 and Agent 45 hold court from 9pm until...

    Good to see that it's now 2 Saturdays as opposed to only 1.

    bring friends....we're still pulling small numbers. It'll be interesting to see if anyone actually shows for Keb tonight. Atlanta is sleepy when it comes to soul and funk.
