    Excuse me mister

Since argyle is part of your repertoire,

    Seersucker Yay or Nay?

The seersucker question aside, I hope TheMack admonishes you for leaving the house in pleat-front slacks.

    My question is this:

OK, I got a little fat butt - will my shorty tell me that she like it like that?

How is TheMack to know what your shorty will or will not tell you?

He is a fashion expert, not a psychic!

Don't you mean to ask, "How do I accentuate my little fat butt in order to ensure that my shorty will tell me that he like it like that?"

I didn't include the following tidbit of information - he likes when my jeans look painted on.

    Dear TheMack,

It is 2006 and I'm still sporting "the grunge look". Can you give me a few basic tips on updating my look? I imagine much has changed in the 12 since I last purchased new used clothing.

    Thanks!

    TheMack,

What size white T's should I cop for the summer?

I'm also going to be on the beach a lot this summer: speedo, regular swim shorts, or capri swim shorts?

Can I wear flip flops in NYC?

Yes enlighten us. I understand the tall tee look is out. But what does that mean for those of us who are tall? Belly shirts?

for white tees, go for the slim fit, not too long, like yung joc's tee in the "it's goin down" video

Dear Mack, first of all, I love your fashion manifesto. You should seek a publisher. I'll write the foreword.

    HOTDISH FASHION

    An epiphany yesterday
    captured my mind --
    the smiling children of Cairo
    unfurling roll
    upon roll
    of brightly colored broadcloth.

    Make no mistake,
Duluth is a cold, grey city.
    Earth tones
    render us rusty mystics, praying
    "Thor, take a day off."
But we love a warm hotdish --
    beef bathed in ocres,
    creams and browns
(Italy can keep their neon cuisine).
    We celebrate the consistency
    in time: how simple Oxfords,
    khakis, and button-downs
    work in trio day
    after day.

    Our drones
    have no stripes, no spice.
    Blonde and bland, all day
    tapping his Timex
    and looking forward
to the thought of 6pm --
    smiling children unfurling
    broadcloth table runners,
    setting the silverware,
    and eating plate
    after plate
    of hotdish.
