May 21 RHYTHM & BOOZE at El Myr. Tim Lawrence's monthly rhythm & soul night is the best thing going in Atlanta right now. Admission is free, the booze is cheap and this month, I will be joining Tim on the turntables as we devote two hours of the night to our favorite songs from the Motown stable. That's right! BOOZING IN THE SHADOWS OF MOTOWN!!! And believe me, very little of what we play will be regular fodder for oldies radio. This will be the real deal. The music starts at 10, and the Happening starts as soon as you walk in the door! We'll spin records until they kick us out (generally between 2:45 and 3am). EL MYR, 1091 Euclid Ave NE, Atlanta.
