twelve inches and their remixes!!sometimes the tv mix is an instrumental. sometimes it's a diff version. some 12's have instrumental versions of the clean version and the dirty version!?! what the blood? some have a dub mix and a reg instrumental.whats what??

    I always assumed TV mixes were a slightly different mix, geared sonically towards the terrible audio reproduction of early televisions. So less bass, more mids, mono, etc...

    A lot of times though it's an instrumental with backing vocals in the choruses - designed to be an instrumental record to rhyme on top of, while on a television performance.

    What's the question???
