UK electronics question...

Do batteries differ in the UK from those in the US? i am considering a peice of portable equipment that is a "UK Version" and i am not sure if i will run into a problem with batteries. i had to get an adapter for my 1200s for power because they were from outside the US, but never really thought much about "foreign" battery power.

    The main power differs, but batteries are all the same, to the best of my knowledge. Batteries will give you DC (direct current) as opposite to the mains, which gives you AC (alternate current).
