I don't have the record in front of me but Sabor was distributed by a fairly prolific Latin music distributor that was around the corner from my old house in the BLQ Pico district in LA. By the time I had a chance to get to it I think Leon and Cool Chris had cleaned it. Deadstock multiple sealed copies of local and international latin heat. all the while I was sitting in class around the corner completely oblivous, buying Bob James One and Roy Ayers out at Record Surplus.
just picked it up this afternoon. my copy came complete with a ltd edition rastafarian colored kitkat funbite, iron on puts logo, temporary kid drunkadelic press on tattoo and tassle from doubleK's homemad bedazzled flightsuit tshirt. dope!!
i like the "eat street" joint. you and double K should put out a puts approved eateries map of LA and surrounding areas. sheeeeit. i just found a dope little greek joint called spyros gyros. i'm finding that the gyro sammiches are damn near soft tacos for my greek brethrenseses and them. anyway i digress.
good job to you and K on the album. the whole package is real slick.
