I don't know. For some ungodly reason I want to tell y'all that this is a very good album. I've been revisiting it lately. Used to be a staple in high school and college when the song "Travel By Thought" served as something my friends would sometimes play when we'd eat mushrooms. I don't know if it's soulful. I don't know if it has any breaks. But I do know that it's an enjoyable listen, as are these:

    Listening to Seance this morning, the thought crossed my mind that some of it sounds like a pre-cursor to the Stone Roses.

    I remember The Cult playing in Buenos Aires in the 90's. The man has NO voice, nothing, nada. It was emabarrasing. Lucky me, I was watching them on TV.
