I realise that these sort of questions are strongly disapproved of on this site and i apologise, but if i get an answer it will have been worth all the insults. On the Diminshing Returns Pt 2 psych mix by DJ Shadow there is a folkish song at the end that has the lyrics 'I'm just a star on a democratic flag' in the chorus. I have googled this stuff and know the majority of the tracks on this mix but no-one ever seems to identify this song. i want to know it dammit. Anyone wish to help a brother out?

    while we're on the topic of samples people have yet to find the sources of...

    how about that old beastie boys "well, if it's gonna that kinda party, imma stick my dick in the mashed potatoes"...

    or that dj cam "i love hiphop like madonna loves dick"...

    i've seen those asked numerous times, but never seen anyone reply about the sources.

    i was under the impression it was pryor that had the dick in mashed potatoes line

    edit: interesting, i guess its probably not since i cant find any confirmation
