Weekend finds inspired. I celebrate his entire "Raccolta X" catalogue. Nice nude covers and cool sax music. My uncle, sort of a local playboy, used to have tons of Fausto's and a decanters collection. I love my uncle.Declare your love for Fausto in this thread, please.

it's always nice to see a fausto while digging, even if you don't cop it's a guaranteed pleasant experience.

People tell me there excists a "funky" Pappetti record, the one with the toy car on a nude breast. Probably has a break. I'm affraid I always turned a death ear to this urban myth. Am I missing out?

Well, the man THOUGHT he was sophisticated. I'll never forget that decanter collection. Oh, and he had these collection of sexy little dolls too, all with long hair, very 70's. All of this was proudly displayed in his living-room.

He used to fly to Montevideo on weekends just to be at his favorite
boite on saturday night. He would do 1200 km trips by car just to hit the Casinos. One day his car overheated, and he filled the radiator with the bottles of wine he was carrying in the trunk

Well, Fausto does have his moments. I put his version of "Slippin' Into Darkness" in pt 1 of my 1K cheese mix, and it's not even really cheesy. Big ups to F. Pappy from here.

Ako -> That "Love's Theme" break was comped way back on UBB#11.
Classic break - you'll know it when you hear it.

I put his version of "Slippin' Into Darkness" in pt 2 of my 1K cheese mix, and it's not even really cheesy.

In that case, I must have approved it because that mix was my kind of happening and it freaked me out.

I think that must be "deaf" ear.

There is, it's number 19 I think. Definitely not funky. Unless sleezy italian soft-jazz is "funky".

I went to a thrift and found a pile of them, like numbers 14-21. I pulled them all because they had breasts and randomly listened having no previous knowledge of Fausto. Anyway, yeah, #19 had a break (which was randomly found). I only picked up that one because of the break and I regretted not having the rest simply for the cover (plus they were only $0.25 each, but I was too concerned with these terds weighing down my back-pack since it was the first stop in a full day of digging via bus/walk).

Musically, they were all terds. Even the one with a break, is an absolute zzz-fest. The break comes out of nowhere, which is surprising.

What are the early ones like, though? Numbers 1-10? I don't even know if AP could get behind those later ones.

Mine with love's theme or whatever had the car driving over the breast. Different cover, but I think mine is a later press.

his version of Footprints on the Moon is not to be sniffed at either.....it's on that album with the gold disc on the cover....

  • how does a fausto thread only have one album cover flick, and it happens to be his one album where the girl's not even topless??

We are trying to focus on Fausto's great musical output.

In think that particular cover is a Pappetti's argentinian raer on the MusicHall label.
