    It's soul and funk and it's Canadian. That's about as far as the comparison goes. Would you expect him to compare it to $3 records?

    i don't know it to be the worst album i've ever heard.... it's just more R&B related than it is to deep funk or heavy soul.. however, if you ARE looking for that kind of sound and desire it's origin to be within canada, i'm sure soufriere would gladly help you out.. he finds it with such frequency, it's as if rare canadian funk and soul albums appear from beneath his pillow when he awakes each day.. 'ya ron .. i woke up and i found 6 frank motley albums, all in shrink, under my pillow... this of course doesn't even compare to that day i woke up and a box of st. vincent's latinaires was under the sheets next to me when i got up'..
