For the longest time I wasn't feeling Charles Wright, His voice is fairly awful, and my old hippie boss used to play him a lot which also gave me a bit of a distaste for his stuff (possible ayo).Anyways I picked up the Express Yourself LP on Warner Brothers last week figuring that I'd just reflip it for some dough, before putting it in the sell pile I threw it on the turntable and got to cleaning my bathroom.GOT DAM, my music snobbery almost got in the way of an excellent soulful, funky and emotional 30 minutes of good music.Mr. Wright, I salute youWhat LP's did you reluctantly listen to and fall in love with?
