It's the Method Man for short Mr. Meth
Movin on your left, aah!
And set it off, get it off, let it off like a gat
I wanna break full, cock me back
Small change, they puttin shame in the game
I take aim and blow that nigga out the frame
And like Fame!!, my style'll live forever
Niggaz crossin over, but they don't know no better
But I do, true, can I get a "sue"
Nuff respect due to the one-six-ooh
I mean ohh, yo check out the flow
like the Hudson or PCP when I'm dustin
Niggaz off because I'm hot like sauce
The smoke from the lyrical blunt makes me *cough*

The verse has not withstood the test of time.

Your buggin'....

I bet you we can go to a party and cats will be shoutin' his verse outloud.

No one else gets this treatment whenever this song gets played.
And the girls mouth the lyrics as well.

ok best verse on 4th chamber

Verse Four: The Genius/GZA (Maximillion)

The banks of G, all CREAM downs a vet
Money feed good, opposites off the set
It ain't hard to see, my seeds need God-degree
I got mouths to feed, unnecessary beef is more cows to breed
I'm on some tax free shit by any means
Whether bound to hit scheme or some counterfeit CREAM
I learned much from such with cons who run scams
Veterans got the game spiced like hams
And from that, sons are born and guns are drawn
Clips are fully loaded, and then blood floods the lawn
Disciplinary action was a fraction of strength
that made me truncate the limp on temp
with the stump, treat his hips like air pumps
RZA shaped the track, niggaz caught razor bumps
Scarred tryin to figure who invented
this unprecented, opium-scented, dark-tinted
Now watch me blow him out his shoes without clues
Cuz I won't hesitate to detonate, I'm short fuse

usually b-digital verses are lukewarm

this is very very incorrect.

You f@g
You couldn't pull one drag--
off my blunt! You couldn't punch your way out of a wet paper bag--
With scissors!
Bitch, the RZA!

At around this heavily lyrical time, a friend of mine was gonna put a crazy lyrical rap on his literal answering machine and I persuaded him to let me do an ad lib at the beginning about "passing the lyrical blunt".

This tape could destroy me if it ever surfaced. I'd have to come back as an alias or something.

Remember when Meth was the most hyped rapper around? Seems like a very long time ago now.

fuck the hype: Meth is the best all-around rapper in the clan.

best albums? not by a long shot. but best combo of rhyme patterns/comedy/lyrics/swagger/choruses/great songs/multiple styles.

meth stands alone in the crew for his sense of rythym and ability to ride the beat. plus he actually has multiple styles which is very rare in rap (despite the ad nauseum bragging about "many styles" etc.)

it seems cliche at this point to start a "whos the best wu member" but I had to step to the defense of dude.

Don't get me wrong - not for a second questioning his ability. Though I personally rate Ghostface higher there's no doubt who stands out in the early Wu releases. Was just referring to the fact that as I remember it everyone was most hyped about Meth's solo album before it dropped. Noone was really expecting great things from GZA, Ghost or Raekwon.

Was always a bit gutted that his solo albums never really fufilled the promise.

D. "yo check out the flow"
E. "lyrical blunt"

Verse One: Ghostface Killah

The only man I hold wake for

Isn't that "hold weight for?"

Anyway, RZA takes this one IMO.

But then again,
I like the first Bob Digi album, so I guess that makes my opinion

Now I See Everything...

i saw RZA at Tramp's in NYC right when that album came out... dudes were smoking dust in the building like mad... getting flusty... it was a typical hip hop show,ie. started dope w/ rza rhyming and then fell off as the Clan b-teamers hogged the mic while RZA djed... the best part was when rza did domestic violence, some girl from the audience got on stage and he was yelling that "you aint shit, your momma aint shit" in her face and she started to cringe a little...

Isolating the sentences without factoring the flow/cadences within the verse is a severely limiting analysis. Your reasoning could be applied to 90% of hiphop that's 2 months - to 20 yrs old.(as well as the other wu-cats' verses)

I'm not seein' your critque.
