PC -> MAC (External HD Related)

im looking at dropping loot on a powerbook this summer. im on a PC now, and have this external HD full of files that i would want on my mac. ive been doing some research about having this work, and ive heard yes and no answers.i have the ExHD formatted in FAT32.has anyone had any experience with this?

    Your straight. Aslong as its not NTFS. I got that setup on a maxtor external 300. Though you wont be able to access the HD by both machines at the same time obviously. works fine.

    os x - reads/writes to fat32, reads ntfs only, no write support.

    xp - reads/writes to fat32, reads/writes hfs+(mac format) if you purchase mac drive

    I recommend you get mac drive since fat32 is rather archaic.
