I have a friend who went to a shrink because he couldn't break out of his passivity. He supported his passive lifestyle with cratedigging and small time record dealing and thus cratedigging had become part of the problem. You know the deal, get up at noon, smoke a joint, eat some yogurd or left over pizza, hit the fleamarkets and thrift stores, get home, order a new pizza, put some stuff on ebay. He hardly did his laundry anymore and stopped brushing his teeth. So he managed to drag himself to a shrink. Soon it turned out the shrink was a serious pennywistle and other south african record collector. Now my friend just added the guy to his circle of clients, hunts down pennywistle records for him and ended the therapy after maybe 2 sessions.
