Whats good in Virginia?

I'm going to VA next week... never been before. I'm going for work, but figured I see if there is anything going on out there. Any recommended dig spots? drinking spots? I'll be at some place called Wallops Island (whatever that is)...

    That's down near Assoteague/Chincoteague. Not much happening out there (except great scenery, beachfront and wild horses).

    Kinda out there diz. If you have the time get over to Norfolk/Hampton/Chesapeake, there's tons of thrifts and local spots to weasel through. Be prepared to drive though.

    Serious insects! My wife and got out of the car to look at the wild horses and got about 50 mosquito bites in about 45 seconds. Brutal...
