REP a Sound Frequency Analyzer

I need to hook up a program that can take a sound and break it down into numeric data, instead of a graphic display - So I can play a sound and it'll come back with 'Oh, thats 234 Khz, 540 Khz and 800Khz'.Anyone know of a program that can do the job? Preferably freeware?Paece.Lee.
