I've been playing bass for 18 years and believe, Tisdale can play that bass. The odd thing about him is that he's left handed but plays a right-hander upside-down, a la Hendrix. But unlike Hendrix, he leaves the strings, so that the thickest is on the bottom. Can't get me head around it, but Jimmy Haslip does it too. And they can slap more than a game of musical chairs at a nudist colony.
Hakeem released his own LP. That's when he was known as Akeem. I can't find a scan of the cover on the internet, but I have an old NBA video with him in the studio recording it.
Never heard it though... It did however give me a good chuckle.
