where do i get .avi codecs for windows media player? where do i install them? is there a media player that has all types of codecs so i don't have compatability issues? any help would be great.

B***y's suggestion is a good look/call; there are occasions where an all-inclusive codec pack may present conflict compatibility issues; you may want to use the following freeware utility:
