in the original Jerry Fielding (unused) score cd I read in the lier notes that a 45 of the "theme " by Q was planned to be released cause Steve McQueen "wanted a cool album for his cool movie " can you confirm.......I never heard abt this 45.......how's the track ?

    nothing to go crazy over, havent got it but i think its called love theme from the getaway or something.. that whole soundtrack is actually pretty mellow lots of strings, not much ost funk.
