Seems like in the new board format the pages for a thread tendto fluctuate, as the posts stay the same.A five-pager is reduced to a two-pager, and then becomes a 10-pager.Keeps things interesting, but now our measuring stick is faultyfor when we want to declare a best/worst thread of all time(a.k.a. best/worst thread of -----'s current login session).Page me.Perhaps this was covered in "BUGS".

  • Yeah, I noticed the other day that "Post your NOW Mug" was allegedly 17 pages long and I thought that MissBassie had finally posted that pic of her and Archaic holding hands.

The page counts are higher if you're not logged in than they are if you're logged in. At least for me they are.

    Astute observation, Enki.

This is probably what I've been experiencing, as I experience the
board both ways (I only log in when I have to use the bathroom).

But this could be a useful psychological tool for those who create
posts which are not as successful or popular as hoped ; one can
simply log out and then view their post with a higher page count.
Sort of like when I look at my tiny breasts through a funhouse
    mirror, rendering them as double-D's.

RON HOWARD: Do I smell vodka and...wheat grass?
HOMER: It's called a Lawn Mower. I invented it. Want one?
    RON HOWARD: Yeah, sure!
