so ive had a fender rhodes seventy three for a few years and never really got a great sound out of it. now, the fuse in my power box is basically broken from the inside and on the outside plus the line gives off more than its usual fuzz with static like an AM radio. i want to totally replace the power box and get some real sound from it when my tax check lands so can anyone let me know which companies are holding it down with brand new power boxes and maybe even a pre-amp...? plaese.

I haven't had to do any work to mine so far so I don't know what you would need to do, but that site has a local listing for all Rhodes repairs. Hope that helps.
Unfortunately, it looks like they're shutting their website down for a few months starting today? Try giving them a call.

Maybe I'll re-Tolex the front of my piano, it needs it... the 'bright kit' looks hot too.
