    BTW, I wish every wedding in Argentina wouldn't start with the happy couple entering the room to the sound of "Chariots of fire" by Vangelis. It fucks up the night right from the start for me.

    She's coming down the aisle to "Someone Exactly LIke You," by Nina Simone, and our recessional music is "Soulful Strut,". But, the first dance has been a lot tougher...any ideas are welcome.

    There is a 12" single of Lester Bowie doing an instrumental version that is wonderful to dance to.

    Great thread.

    I am starting to plan our wedding for late this year, and we are always talking about (and sometimes argueing about) music for the wedding, and in particular, the walking dow the isle song, and the first dance song.

    I'm stumped on both really. I don't want some corny shit for either of them, but having said that, I just can't think of anything!
