Is it worth my time to make an hour drive to the flea market? It is going to be warm today. What the hell.

Well it depends. Where you going? If you're heading south on the GSP, then just stay home. It ain't no records down there, unless you're into the Beach Boys and rare Atlantic City private press lounge/casino records.

Bob & Earl were the guys that cut a buttload of smoking soul 45s (Dancing Everywhere, Harlem Shuffle etc) for Mirwood and other labels. Earl also recorded as "Jackie Lee", i.e. 'The Duck'

house of pain sampled harlem shuffle. You know the horn that is at the begining of jump around? ... bob & earl. The evel album has some press conference audio, evel talks to the kids and evel talks about the future. It has two songs why and ballad of evel knievel. Had to pick it up for $2

Not yet. I've had 45's on my site (I tried to post labels but the pix wouldn't show up), and other Mirwood stuff on the blog, but no Bob & Earl yet.

  • Here are the pix
