this label I liked what I heard from Growing Concern and Stone Circus. What are your favorites?How is that Pot full of Flowers?

    And of course, the Amboy Dukes had their moments. Ever hear that weird Mainstream compilation called The Guitar Players where they stuck a Dukes hard-rock track in the middle of all these jazz and blues tracks? And credited it to "Ted Nugent (Amboy Dukes)"?



    (BTW, this is the exact same Mainstream that put out the jazz records. And Alice Clark. So are they out of this discussion?)

    For this post yes, just wanted to focus on the psychish/rock output & that label imprint specifically

    Josefus on Mainstream is weak....stick to the OG on Hookah

    "pot full of flowers" is a comp of sorts although none of the bands on it ever released anything else on mainstream.
    growing concern's cover of the hollies' "hard hard year" is the best thing on the label that i've heard.

    oh yeah i had superfine dandelion lp too, and wasn't into it. i liked their singles a bit more though. one of my favorites was mentioned above but i don't wanna blow that spot up

    So far Jelly Bean Bandits - but I have many still to hear. I have that album burned, if anyone wants me to upload it.

    And although it goes against the rules, I gotta give a shout out to my Chu Berry "Sittin' In" LP, which I listen to constantly.
