I bought a copy off of eBay: Warner Bros, green label. The auction said it was an OG *UK* pressing which I always thought was on an orange label while green was the U.S. 2nd pressing. Can someone clear this up?Danke.

OG U.K. press is Orange. Didn't even know there was a U.S. press of it.

    Seconded.

All the OG copies I've seen have been orange-label UK pressings.

I would say that the UK OG has a green WB label, just like other releases on the label at the time. When did Warner use orange?

I'm hoping so cause if not, I got jipped (and I bought my copy from the UK).

  • I've only seen the green one as well.

So peep...I won a copy of the green label "Movements" off eBay. $40. Not cheap, not exhorbitant. The seller thought he was selling an OG UK issue and he's been very cool about letting me return the LP for a refund if I want. The question is: is it worth the trouble? I'd prefer the OG orange label but I'm not tripping that hard off a 2nd issue either.

I really don't see the difference. I mean, It's two years - I can't imagine the price would be much less for the green label.

But, is there actually a US issue? that's what I'm curious about...

Nah. It's a dope album, you'll be happy with it.

Totally. I'm pretty sure $40 is close to the going rate in general.
It's a great record. I personally wouldn't worry about the color of a label with the same music on it. That's too anal even for me!

Ha - 'round these parts, anality is pretty normal though.
