I love when things are running slow at work... Whats everybody up too?Couple of pics while at work today... Sorry, I couldn't take a pic of the 300 hot gurls in a nursing lecture... I'd probably get fired!Damn snow is here... Almost time to get out the sled dogs! HA... Fellow techs on the job! Todays lunch!! Swiss Chalet Festive Special!

    today, i actually have manufacturing work to do... but rocco forgot to come in again, so i've mostly been fucking off.

    in typical style - everything here is totally last minute. bossman leaves for china on sunday for a film felstival and there is so much to do and every hour, there's one more thing added to the list (that should have been figured out two weeks ago). everyone's getting stressed and bitchy and this is not fun.
    working for other people is so unfulfilling.

    in typical style - everything here is totally last minute. bossman leaves for china on sunday for a film felstival and there is so much to do and every hour, there's one more thing added to the list (that should have been figured out two weeks ago). everyone's getting stressed and bitchy and this is not fun.

    im finally getting canned today. i was laid off 2 weeks ago but the laid me back on for another 2 weeks and now that time is up. ive been making dubs of my old hi8 tapes, some dubs of archival footage from my work's library, and downloading porn because i can.

    You work at a college or something too? i work at a college. the female factor is huge here. 30,000+ students on campus, 3 schools. lots of diversity. i often find myself gazing out my office window at breezies passing by. ah this is the life. time to go get some mexican food. 5k

    you guys don't know a commercial juice extractor when you see one!? all last week, we were casting the aluminum parts for the machines, and when they came back from polishing, i put that shit together. the first pic is a blade grinder to set the cutter tooth height at .445" (yawn), the second one is an old machine i'm repairing (bearing replacement) for mother's market in costa mesa... the third one is a bunch of new machines ready to get boxed up.

    Yeah, I work at a University. Around 50,000 students. The female factor is crazyyyyyyy.... I tell people it's one of the benefits!

    its not so bad. i really didnt like the job anyways. plus ive made quite a few dubs of my movies and some dubs of hi8 shit that i havent looked at in years. oh, and some awesome archival shit of LA in the 20s on up to the 80s. like, back when the scientology bldg just said hollywood, when lacma was still may co., koreatown was called midtown. its kinda cool.

    besides, i have a interview today at 3 in the rampart district of LA. going back to my non-profit roots. wish me luck!

    I love working for uoft tho. Best employer I've ever had.



    I was just reading how they are in the top 100 employers in Canada. They took in over a billion dollars in donations last year. Crazy money around here...
