cheap record shelving ideas

can someone give me details/suggestions for the cinder block/wood set-up?? seems self explanatory but any tips would be lovely...or any other fly homemade tactics??

    although a few ikea things may be lacking in quality (usually just hinges and so-forth)...i highly recommend the expedit, got the 5x5 model, have dis/re-assembled it about 4 times and its still holding up beautifully... sturdy as hell too
