"Misdemeanor" reggae ?......lil dude question

i was at work the other day and i heard a version of Foster Sylvers "Misdemeanor"...it sounded like a reggae cover with a child singing ......the lady playing it was an older jamaican lady..but i was in NO position to ask her....

am i little dude for not knowing this?
