looking to finish off my collection of covers of the barry white classic.......i have these......cookie monster and the crumbs unlimited orchestrafunk inc.jimmy smithcontour vol.7 comp.cecil holmesboth the barry white versions.......vocal and instrumentali know i need the need these versions.......kelle pattersonwestwingand the reggae cover version, forget who it's byif you have any of the 3 i need and don't mind parting with them please let me know........if you have any i don't know about please let me know.

    there are some nice newer versions from the 90s, but only on CD I think:

    Tito Nieves (latin flavoured) on "I like it like that" - 1997
    Gene Rice (smooth modern) on his selftitled CD from 1993
    Gregg Bacon (jazzy) on "Secret Place" (1997)

    and I think I got an older instrumental somewhere, but I'm sure there are some more...

    OK, over the weekend it was verified that Raj and I are NOT talking about the same record... so there are TWO lounge acts from upstate ny with covers of this song...

    OG is on JA Splash label - 10 times louder than the LP and twice as good as the Harry J.

    There's also a Carribean cover of the song wich is a nice one to have.

    I have a few versions you might not know (yet).

    I will look for the titles. These are all on LP so,are any of these versions on

    45 excecpt for the one mentioned earlier.
