Rez,
Got a 45 issue on Harry J as well
Now he tells me
I know of which record you speak.
(as does Haze25, since his recent visit)
solid dude...
there are some nice newer versions from the 90s, but only on CD I think:
Tito Nieves (latin flavoured) on "I like it like that" - 1997
Gene Rice (smooth modern) on his selftitled CD from 1993
Gregg Bacon (jazzy) on "Secret Place" (1997)
and I think I got an older instrumental somewhere, but I'm sure there are some more...
OK, over the weekend it was verified that Raj and I are NOT talking about the same record... so there are TWO lounge acts from upstate ny with covers of this song...
SHHHHH!
did you cop more A?
Sadly, no. Still working on it.
Who is that? sounds nice!!
OG is on JA Splash label - 10 times louder than the LP and twice as good as the Harry J.
K in Canada.
"The 20th Centrury Steel Band "
I have a few versions you might not know (yet).
I will look for the titles. These are all on LP so,are any of these versions on
45 excecpt for the one mentioned earlier.
