Man I like the "Survival Of The Fittest" lp... "If You've Got It, You'll Get It" is crazy to me, that horn sounding thing is wild, these dudes are so over talented with there instrumental knowledge its ridiculous... of course Mr. Clark kills it on the drums... anyway, for the last couple days, I've been going through the crates and peeping things that have been collecting dust and this one kept me coming back in the middle of the night when the fam is sleep I dip to the record room and throw the phones on and escape to somewhere else...

    Yeah man, I don't know why I don't have a copy. I've seen it and been like "ahh i'll find it cheaper" then never do.

    Since it's record day and all that, if youse guys wants I can rip and upload the Headhunters album to the Real Headz area. I assume we're talking about their first album with "God Make Me Funky", right? If so that's the one I have...remastered French CD, no less. Mike Clark is just one of the sickest drummers ever.

    It's definately up there. On the rare occassions I partake in some greenery I go straight for that album.

    I don't know...the Headhunters album is far superior to Black Octopus, which is a two-tracker IMO.

    Each to their own. I personally love it but know other people who really can't get into it.

    Best enjoyed if not compared with the Headhunters work IMO.
