    hmmm...I've dabbled.


    As for italian prog,a lot of it is pretentious and meandering.Much of it classically influenced,but here are some of the heavier bands/lp's:







    Italian Canterbury? this one:



    From South America:

    Argentina

    Here's a real obscure one from Sweden:


    France had TONS of prog bands in the 70's:this one is God.

    (prog+underground/psych sounds)

    +Canada-Sloche,Milkweed

    Denmark-Blast Furnace

    Finland-Tasavalin Presidentti(Lambertland),Finnforest,Pekka Pohjola

    blah,blah,blah...I could go on and on.Just some off the top of the dome.
