There didn't seem to be so many hiphop / rap 7's from the genesis era of the genre, interested to knowwhat folks know or have pressed on 7" from back in the day, exclusively in that format as well as those that enjoyed a 12" pressing as well, anyone shed some light on the period from 79 to 81/82? Thinking Peter Brown affiliated etc... I know Sugarhill put some out there and there's ???Rappin??? With Mr. Magic???, what else?

Ive heard that Sugar Baby Weet - Ah! Bam Bam Just Jam was also released on a 7"..dont know if thats true.
You may have to check out that Freddy Fresh book..
found this for 50p recently. It's got a 15 year old Rodney O rapping over a tough beat, on Galleon Records, '83. Pretty sure the 12" is in Freddies book.
some of the rarer and older rap 45s I have lying around.....

No doesn't look like it. Looks just like the 12"
i've got the Futura 2000 single from that same series on 7"..it also has the same sleeve as the 12" version....
There REALLY wouldn't be any point in reissuing something like this
