so I was listening to 3rd Bass' Derelicts of Dialect LP this morning and starting thinking about "the DJ track" on hiphop records....DJ Premier in Deep Concentration, Terminator X to the Edge of Panic, etc., etc.....thought I'd post one of my favorites from one of my favorite (and overlooked, I think) DJs, Richie Rich aka Daddy Rich. what's your favorite?and where's Daddy Rich now?Daddy Rich in the Land of 1210

This dj cut on this LP.

  • Geez i could be here for days on this one...

Might just offer one that has been forgotten.
K.M.C. KRU - The Devil Came Up to Michigan. CURE RECORDS 1991[/b]
A version of a classic Country song. I think it's cool.

This dj cut on this LP.

Hell, "Rampage" could qualify as well. Also:

    X-Clan--"Shaft's Big Score"
DJ Jazzy Jeff & Fresh Prince--"Live at Union Square," "A Touch of Jazz," "Rhythm Trax (House Party)" among others
    Low Profile--"Alladin's on a Rampage"

  • I highly recommend this mix CD from Soulstrut's very own DJ Nikoless...

"This is Where You Got it From"

2 disc set of all the best DJ tracks, from Flash to DST to Cash Money to Davy D to Aladdin to Jazzy Jeff to Premier to Skratch Piklz to Mr Dibbs. Very very dope.
