The Jades on Scram Records

I had an idea...what if I could get help with one of myrecord-relatted questions instead of dabbling in clown porn.A few years ago Tuff City/Night Train released a comp that I think was, misleadingly, called The Best Of Scram Records[/b].Turns out there was a bunch of unreleased stuff on there, and someof it was really really good. Now, for whatever reason it seems to be totally out of print, anddifficult to even find any track listings for the CD.But I'm telling you, The Jades[/b] are straight killing it.Especially if you like that Johnson Hawkins Tatum Durr type of styleof making music. There's this one song called "What A Fool I've Been" that willgive a neighbor goose bumps, it's so good. Now trying to do some research on the Jades.First of all, these Scram recordings, maybe never even came out.Tuff City digging in the vaults. Also, there's like 10 other "The Jades" besides the southerndeep-group-soul one.And wondering if this "Jades" is any relation to JADE of "Paper Man" infamy.Dante, funky16, pickwick, jinx, chris...any of you 45 and deep soulfanatics....what is the deal.Watch me do like "james" and go post on the British board. We export the goods, we re-import the relatted informationin a ruler-is-back relay race.THE JADES, man.Made me fell like my ribcage was made out of a lattice ofgay rabbit meat.

Or perhaps "The Jaedes" who cut one album, I want to say Musicor but I think not. Nice sweetish Northern cut on there. I sold one a number of months ago for around a bill.
