Jazz and Brazilian pickups from the swap meet in the Arts District and local store after checking out the Alice Coltrane exhibit at the Hammer Museum this weekend.

i caught the new doc about Sly Stone yesterday. if you're a fan, it's well worth seeing.  loads of unreleased bits... like footage from their first run as a band.  

And don't forget the trailer he made for the CD!
