yeah rane recommends shure m44s. they are loud for sure, but i feel it also has to do with the fact that they don't want to advertise stanton for obvious reasons.What else do you use as part of your DJ setup?I'm looking to further pimp out my DJ setup. I love my Shure V15 Type III cartridge, but only have one, it's hard to find another for cheap & having unmatched turntables is kinda bumming me out.
