Sly Stone doc by ?love & Common Sense
I don't believe that pitbull and the monkey story for one second. Maybe some sort of decorative monkey in a tutu but not with a chimp, just do a google image search for monkey mauling. I saw (off line, story is googleable though) graphic shots of a group of idiot tourists got out of their car on a chimp safari in Sierra Leone... these animals have extremely powerful jaws, sharp teeth, long, muscular limbs and fingers/toes that can hold the entire animal's weight with ease and for time. Chimp attacks usually include the ripping off of the ballsack and a full face removal. Pits have jaws, nothing else.Maybe it was a Bonobo, took some grease off the pole to lube up and then went to town on the pit as Bonobos are known for the use of sex for conflict solving.

SoundCloud Mixes
This was my last ever dj mix I put together back in 2015 when I was getting ready to release a series of 12" singles with some hard hitting Edo Funk tunes from Benin City in Southern Nigeria, formerly hometown of my friend and partner in crime Damian Iwuagwu.Damian had moved to Lagos years ago but he still had many friends in Benin and managed to excavate a ton of truly incredible records. While Damian tracked down producers and artists I embarked on a world tour to test the super heavy Edo Funk sound on dance floors all over Europe, Japan and the Americas.Once back from the tour, however, I decided to leave the jockeying and reissuing of records behind and shelved this project.

Sex moaning in songs - yay or nay?
When I first started out with my vampyros lesbos sexploitation parties in 1995 I had girl friends come over to record sex breathing and moaning sessions while listening to various instrumental organ grinders to stay in rhythm and used two pairs of headphones so we would only get the "vocals" on tape. This was back when CD recorders were a very expensive thing almost nobody had so I had the cassettes handed to a friends of a friend who owned such a thing and I didn't personally know. I had a bunch of different tapes, each with the name of the girl on it and a track list on the insert. When the CDs were ready I met the CD guy in a bar... he seemed visibly repelled and I'm sure he washed his hands a few times after the transaction was over. Back then there were usually no CD players in the dj booth so I brought a designated CD walkman, piped it through the 3rd channel and brought the volume up according to the floor heat level. Good times... -
Sleeve Strut.
I bought quite some of these in 2005 and stored records in them until I re-sleeved them maybe 6-7 years later. I felt some deep rooted fear after having come across a few otherwise clean records in Ghana that had been stored in bad pvc sleeves that had "gassed out" and turned the surface dull with constant noise. I think my fear was unfounded though as I forgot to re-sleeve two or three copies I came across in recent years and they were just fine. I chalked it up as typical, unfounded record anxiety.I've been buying from this company for over 20 years by now and they've had these ever since, probably for way longer, I'm quite sure there won't be any problems at all. Somebody would have brought this to their attention and their customer service was always top notch in my limited experience.PVC is short for Poly-Vinyl-Chloride, the same material records are made from. The sleeves that cause the dulling probably had softeners added that can gas out with time.In any way, they do have a great look and feel to them and make the records slide in and out of the shelf with total ease and luxurious smoothness.
