Record sounds worse after cleaning?
i have used the same method for years and also get different results, my brother in law gifted me one of those "DISCWASHER" branded cleaning brushes years ago and i have been using it consistently for cleaning records...its dope and i love it, i use "The Disc Doctors - Quick Wash record cleaner" and sometimes it does an amazingly great job and other times....not so much. one thing i do find that is also consistent is static after cleaning...i dunno if i should dry the record after i cleaned it, or let it naturally dry on its own, i use a microfiber cloth to dry it with, but the static is killer. sometimes before the needle hits the records i can hear it buzzin' and i havent figured out a way to eliminate it.
i have never heard of cleaning from the center outwards tho and most of the cleaning options out there seem to be focusing on "getting in the grooves" and cleaning them.. i havent researched vinyl cleaning options in a long time though.
i feel like i have the correct/right/proper tools for doing it, but my process seems flawed somewhere down the line.. unless i am totally way out in left field, lol

TWO BIG BOYS - NEFERTITI (1987) REMASTERED - YouTube
Copyright belongs to the original owners, digitised and remastered by Nico DeadWax for personal use and general enjoyment! :o) It seems that some people were after identifying this song. When some weeks ago I got asked for help I couldn't remember the band and title at first hearing, but I was sure that I had the record in my collection. Took me a while to locate it but here it is now! I listed the full info at Discogs for ease of reference: https://www.discogs.com/Two-Big-Boys-Monkeys-Nefertiti/release/15796259I was also able to find Two Big Boys' main member Ron Meerbeek and was in direct contact with him for several months. Unfortunately, on December 3rd, 2020, he passed away after a long standing illness. All his art, his legacy will now remain forever. Rest in peace dear Ron!There she goes looking back at you you. There she goes in an Egyptian froufrou.I don’t think she’s after a taxi.I don’t think you’re gonna see her again. There she goes out of his life.Say goodbye to your Egyptian wife.I don’t think she’ll try it again.I don’t think you’re gonna see her again.Ooh, I met her as a kid.Outside her pyramid. There she goes with a smile.Floating down the Nile.Next time you see her she’ll be on the TV.You’ll say to yourself “She’s my little Nefertiti”.You’ll say “I knew her long ago”,“Now here she is on a TV show”.She’s an Egyptian princess. She met you and left you in a pretty white dress. She won’t return your phone calls. She doesn’t want to see you at all.Ooh, I met her as a kid.Outside her pyramid. There she goes with a smile.Floating down the Nile.(limited mp3 quality here at youtube)
Twitch DJs
dudes/dudettes - thank for the links yo, i checked out Maseo's Twitch the day this was posted (18 days ago) and heard the fucking sickest most dopest version of "Childrens Story" i have ever heard, it was obviously made using the multitracks, muting and solo'ing only certain segments of the track - as the beat, lyrics and everything else were all the same as the OG track, i have been trying to find it since that time but i am sure its only a mix that "he" has, i hope i catch it again on some random listen. i peeped Jeff's Twitch as well and it was just filled with sick shit. first night i caught Jeff he was on some "this is not a DMX tribute, the guy isnt dead" and only few days later "guys this is our DMX tribute set, we are remembering DMX"
i didnt know what Twitch was all about, I just started watching Twitch a year ago, hilariously one night i found someone streaming "MXC" (Lets go! Guy LeDouche) and started watching it every few nights, a few months later, i found people playing and streaming video games and watched for a few hours. i totally forgot about it until this post..it sucks that you cant watch Paul's (bastid's) stream unless you "like/love/join" like everything else now-a-days (do dj's expect you to follow them on every social media platform these days just to see their content?)
** pleez - if anyone comes across a "dj koco" stream POAST! that! shit! up!, i have been watching dudes videos like a crackhead recently and that dude is an untouchable beast on the 1200's

multi jungle/dnb vibez of all eras (raer-r)
^^ yes man 100% even with streaming services, shit still disappears (and i also cant buy everything i want to hear). for the last 10yrs or so i have kept my serato setup mostly hiphop/breaks and so i started to move some house/funkybreaks/D&B/jungle into my setup, i still prefer to mix those genres on vinyl but for simplicity i've gone and downloaded a lot of my tracks to have as mp3's just for my setup, i just don't have the time to convert the vinyl myself.
**i was able to peep that mix, its dope....but.....man so. many. tracks. in 1:30:00 (37 tracks mixed - if i counted right) - its like just as a killer track drops and gets rolling....its over, lol
I was interested in checking the R.I.P (remarcs remix) - that mix is different than the 12" single and is the same mix on the Remarc - Sound Murderer 3xLP album. The "Lightnin and Tunda" Rude and Deadly doesnt get played very long its the (White Label Remix) which is next to impossible to find in the wild, but free to download on "teh u-toobs"
offtopic but on topic a bit, i have heard for years and years about soundclash tapes from the 90's but never heard any, well i fell down a soundcloud rabbit hole the other day and was left mind blown i listened to most of a 2:30:00 set of Addis vs Saxons in Bermuda in 1994 (the soundclash where the "Mash Dem Down" sample was lifted from) fucking hell it was so dope, drop some Amen's/Think breaks over top and "you've got jungle" lol
also THIS dude Owen Palmer remaking Dred Bass by Dead Dred is sick:
