If a Tree Falls on Soul Strut
I'm up to two phones. Zero chill. I enjoy the quickening pace of modern life. I can see that it's beginning to over-take and grind down many regular people, though, who shuffle through life like zombies. I went to home depot in Fruitvale the other day right before closing to get lumber for a project and this girl who looked high and out of it rang up $90+ dollars of wood for $36 because she was too lazy to move anything around. Fine with me. Then later, near close at the Safeway, a lady sold me over $120 of groceries for $12 with a straight face. Now, as society gets more drugged up and escapist, I'm thinking of doing most of my shopping at the last possible moments with all of the most spaced cashiers to take advantage of this future fatigue. To me these are all little glitches in the matrix, signs of normal order breaking down and all kinds of possibilities breaking wide open. ZERO chill.

Can I get a Trump Thread?
Nearly all of our political leaders and major institutions are corrupt. 20% of the country are hardcore white racists and bigots with assault rifles. Whole cities of people are being poisoned and brain-damaged by lead. We definitely need to take to the streets. Fuck this bullshit.

Donald Trump for President!
I'm a Bernie Sanders supporter but I'd have a beer with Trump over Hillary. We'd talk business and make fun of people. Her trotting out the Kissinger endorsement alone showed me that she's operating on a political level so rarefied and far removed from the average American that it's shocking. I will hold my nose and vote for her over Trump for the sake of some vague sense of basic economic stability that she will be able to continue from Obama's administration, but that's it. The general vibe that she gives off is really fake and slimy. Trump is a true wildcard who clearly just likes to troll people and ride angry populist waves.

Chicago, Damn
Kid got caught lacking; simple as that. I don't make any distinction between gang activity and police activity in parts of Chicago. I can't even imagine the level of hardened sociopathy required to really want to be a cop out there. Just reading the news I see FedEx drivers getting their whole truck taken/delivery guys getting robbed daily, landlords getting robbed after collecting rent, whole neighborhoods being denied basic services because they too dangerous to enter, undercover cops getting ran off the block by the guys, Rondo #9 posting up with a rocket launcher on Instagram, cops getting reprimanded only after putting hits out on other cops. It's only really worth it for the cops who specifically enjoy the nihilistic fuckery and corruption. Let's be real: the ability to rob drug dealers and kill with impunity is about the only thing making that job attractive right now.
