They did a breakdown of that last play on ESPN and the ref was behind Durant so didn't see Lebron's arm coming down across him

Day said One other question is what were the Engineers running from and why were all their bodies piled up in the room with all the goop instead of the main part of the ship? I thought one of the aliens was born and turned on them, an…

Like I said originally I enjoyed this movie, but there were too many holes in it for me to really be enthusiastic about it. SPOILERS 1) Having a scientist on another planet playing with some animal they just found? Really??? …

I watched the show every week. A the same time, some of the episodes were a bit plodding. Second season was definitely better than the first, and I loved the ending of season 2 as well. 2nd season also started off a little slow, and get better at th…

I liked the movie. There were some crazy parts in it. At the same time, I had mixed feelings when it was over. I wouldn't go see it again, and probably would only recommend it to certain people.

True, but Bass is a power forward/center. Plus he was all up on Lebron playing him too close instead of backing off and tempting him into taking a jumper. Peitrus would have been much faster and a better choice IMO.

They could have tried Pietrus

I'm excited about the finals. It's gonna be one hell of a match up

Chris Bosh. He was the difference. His jumper, which was on tonight, opened up the floor for Lebron and didn't allow Garnett to guard the paint or slide over for help defense. Boston also should have switched another player to defending Lebron becau…

This whole thread is a Soulstrut classic

Yes, the Illuminati wanted America to have a black president, and now wants to go back to a white one.

Congrats to the Thunder. They are one hell of a team. Also props to S. Jackson. It seemed like he was willing the Spurs to a victory all by himself for a period.

Obama still has a chance, but it's going to be hard. The bad economy, Obama's lackluster record are big strikes against him. On the other hand, Romney is the greatest example of a politician who will literally say and do anything to get elected like…

I think Lebron could play for Pop. At his heart Lebron is a team player so I thought he would love to play for a coach that can get the best out of everyone on their team, and play real team ball. Brown and Spoelstra are fucking horrible. Guys on TV…

Wow, that game was pretty amazing. I didn't think Boston had it in them Rondo is freaking amazing Biggest news though, Miami goes down as one of the worst crowds EVER!!!

I said "almost"!

Basketball never ceases to amaze me. I literally thought the Celts' spirit was broken after the overtime loss in the last game. Given that, plus their inconsistency and old age, I thought they were done. Come tonight, they end up almost blowing out …

That was Boston's best chance. Rando was amazing. Looks like it might be a sweep for Miami. I want to see them get destroyed by San Antonio.

Splitter held down the middle when Duncan was out Ginobli was Ginobli Derek Fisher, 6-7!?!?!!!?! I would hate to be a guard having Durant guarding me. 6'9" with a 7'5" wingspan Spurs looked sloppy as hell in first half. S…

This game is pretty amazing right now. The Spurs made some stupid turnovers, but then went on a run at the end of the quarter.
-
Wade went to work tonight. He posted up like Lebron is SUPPOSED to do.

When I saw the Dictator they showed a brief ad for this. Blew my mind.

Blake Griffin's tooth went through his lip! Mutherfuckin OUCH!

Magic just tore Mike Brown a new one even though he was being low key about it. He said in the second half OKC started fronting Bynum and all the Lakers had to do was swing the ball and be more patient to get the ball back in the post. Brown never a…

Cartwright was very good at holding his position in the paint, and Grant played a great role in the trapping defense that the Bulls played during their first couple championships.
-
Cartwright and Grant actually were. They were able to fight off the Knicks and Pistons' bigs in a time when play was allowed to be a lot more physical than today. Fighting Charles Oakley and Patrick Ewing in the paint was no walk in the park.
