You're probably right about the guitar being a lot of people's favorite instrument, but it never really did it for me... Drums have always been an absolute number 1. Vibes and flute (played in the right way that is) are close seconds.

Gonul Dagi is an absolute killer track.

Just played a few of his tracks on my radio show. R.I.P.

I contributed some records a while ago. I use it as a reference guide and it has lots of great records on it but I think the price guide system is pretty bad (categories like 'between 20 & 50 euro' aren't really helpful) and most of the descript…

Is Douglas Lucas (JJ Band, SSO) featured on one of the Mombasa albums? Is there any demand for the later (black labels, different covers) pressings of Klaus Schulze's Irrlicht & Cyborg Lp's?

When was the bootleg issued? My copy is exactly the same as the green label pic posted above. I bought it from a non-professional dealer at a flea market for 2 euros and it was in between all kinds of cheesy exotica records and it has a sticker fro…

Has this one been bootlegged? Is there an official reissue? I found an a copy today, the front is very blurry, but the back text is very clear and the label on the vinyl is the green original, I'm confused .. maybe it's a later issue .. I've seen t…

Great shots Today and yesterday are sunny days in Belgium as well. I picked up my camera and took a walk through Brussels yesterday, but it's an analogue one, so I can't post pics yet.

Flea market and charity shop finds from the last week and a half: A stack of 'Belgian popcorn' comps with some cool tracks on them. Too bad the artists aren't mentioned. Finally found that Chubby Checker again after leaving two copies behind for…

Found this at a flea today. It has the 'All of us are born with the miraculous ability to determine the direction from which sounds approach' sample that Primo cuts on Afu-Ra's Whirlwind thru cities, which I didn't know when I picked it up.
