The Arthur Adams is the one (I think) with the girl running through the field on the cover. I remember that being pretty decent, kinda Little Beaver-ish. Smoke was actually the soundtrack to The Candy Tangerine Man wasn't it? It's OK, nothing great.

lots of columbia disco 12"s do have different mixes than the lp mixes so it's very possible it's a different "disco" mix of the tune I just noticed the bottom line on the 12" label: "Special Version of the Columbia Single" I MUST HEAR IT!

^ What Woimsah said. I bought Sony MDR-EX51 for under $30 over a year ago and they've stood up great. Plenty bass, sounds great for the gym/jogging/whatever.

You want the effect on the main out or do you want to apply your effects on individual tracks while the others remain dry? If it's the former you can put an insert cables on the MAIN INSERT plugs on the back of the Mackie to the Pioneer.
