dollarbin - I've never been good at the magic eye thing, but I when I look at that text I see flowers and flamez. [color:white] It's a dumb joke, when you look at it the words "Stop Wasting Your Time Get a Life" pop out [/color] now back to t…

This is a magic eye picture, tell us what you see: edit: any content in the above magic eye is strictly for entertainment purposes, it is not editorial. Keep up the good work clubup. I need to make some art for this thread

I'm kind of boycotting these threads because there's just too damn many of them. I think the next level of birthday honor will be to the previous year's b-day thread. But Day is worthy of a thousand threads, happy happy.

i invented crotchface. i better not see this pop up on the front page of waxidermy! Already done did that. I believe we've also been exposed to Fatback's "silver apples".

God I missed baseball. Watched 2 preseason games on TV this weekend and it was eating a good meal after being hungry for a long time. Sadly, what I saw from my Giants did not really fill me with trash talk, but at least we won't be taking shit for…

playing with my balls haha I've been clicking on that link for minutes, but the site just doesn't seem to come up.

Dope group! I will comb my iPhoto collection, hopefully I can contribute.

Thanks for the schadenfreude. Although, #14 about Stax getting screwed has always been pretty depressing to me.

wait, what is this post about? At this point, who cares? I'm tall enough that my knees touch the seat in front of me in most airline seats. It's not cool.

That's why I ride for "desert"

No. i refuse to believe it. every aspect of every movie is so fantastically bad that effort has had to have been put into making it so damn bad. this rules. I applaud their effort.

If you told me this was from Tim & Eric Awesome Show! Good Job! I would definitely believe you.

Now we can mouth off with even less forethought

Dope or Nope? I think the Bay City Rollers took it to the next level by naming themselves after a town they weren't from.

Oh, sweet Jesus, I'm incredibly behind on gospel. Growing up, my church was very much into a post folk gospel of liberal white folk (like myself) but pretty disconnected with real soul gospel. The first time I heard of Rosetta Tharpe was when I vi…

Try searching for the flip "He's Sweet I Know" if the obverse doesn't take. Frankly, all the Scepter-produced singles are easy enough to find, especially compared with the 250- to 500-run gospel impossibles out there. I got my copy for 2 or 3 buck…

Man, Luck, you're rippin' a page right out of my childhood. It was HOB gospel on the regular up in my crib, given my Christian upbringing. That label had great music and is a source of fond childhood memories. Peace, Big Stacks from Kakalak …

Wait, is this easy to find? This 45 is my wife's #1 holy grail (no pun intended), if anyone has doubles I would trade treasure or blood. Been looking for a minute, but perhaps not the right places.

I hated Clay Davis until I learned to love him. Needless to say, I have love for each and every character, including the villains. I really despise Krawczyk, but it was fun to see him cowering and crying when Stringer is killed.

Well, I now have a Bunk shaped hole in my life where The Wire used to live, I've been looking around for things to fill the void. I highly recommend that fans of The Wire check out Kubrick's 1957 film Paths of Glory. David Simon repeatedly cites t…

I'm surprised people are surprised at Valchek's ascension? It's actually pretty perfect in many ways: he's the ideal commissioner in the corrupt, inept bureaucratic world that Simon has envisioned. His Whiteness - as others have noted - is overcom…

fairwell The Wire. I shall revisit you someday soon. Was that Dee wearing a helmet? It's Carcetti's Wife

simon was in a cubicle for a quick second i thought the body that kima and bunk were leaning over was going to be another loose sstring, tied up We saw Simon as a reporter in season 2 as well. I didn't catch him here but I'm not surprised he woul…

ha ha, I never even noticed that. I know the save as list, but I've never heard of it as "compuserve gif" and I guess I just went down that list looking for gif and never saw it becasue of the compuserve. I'll fix these two tomorrow and repost. Qu…

you can definitely use photoshop to make gifs. An easy way for recent versions of photoshop is to use the "Save for Web" option, and then use the gif preset. Otherwise, in the "Save As..." use the compuserve GIF format.

Hey controller 7--you should put your graems on a transparent background rather than white. Unfortunately, jpg doesn't let you do this so gif is really the only option. png does do transparent backgrounds, but the results can be weird sometimes. …
