Dear God... why didn't anyone tell me how facemeltingly amazing this single was? I heard it the other day and it... well... it melted my face away! Nice tune that I surely enjoy, but not that outstanding IMO when you compare with what else is out …

This one is also essential. So good and cheap.b,121b,121img src="http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y63/Sebbqq/JuneConquest.jpg"1b,121b,121b,121object classid="clsid:d27cdb6e-ae6d-11cf-96b8-444553540000" codebase="http://fpdownload.macromedia.com/pub/…

How much are you prepared to pay for a nm/nm copy?

/font1Quote:/font1h,121b,121soulmarcosa: Especially if it's a high ticket item get the buyer to agree to pay for registered mail. It's an extra $10.80 on top of regular Air Mail but it's the only way to track international packages. To my knowledge …

I have a mint- original US pressing (silver cover). It was sealed when I got it and has rarely been played. PM with offer if you're intersted.

As far as I remember there's other Al Green or just Hi records that was made with both labels and I am a bit confused on which was the 1st press. As I understand it while they were using the all white/grey label they issued a few in between with th…

Paul Bley is on the Danish Debut label. Pretty sure that's the OG too.

I have been living in Dublin for nearly 7 months now. Going back to Denmark in 3 weeks. What I can say is; the transportation sucks, food is not so good, rent is too expensive, and there's no 2nd hand records out here. All City had a little somethin…

If I had to choose I would pick Marvin , but Curtis is so phenomenal I don't really like choosing one over the other...just listen to great music and enjoy it rather than make these types of comparisons, it works out better that way. I would have …

Have you ever turned up Mac Machine? and can you describe it? Is it good all the way or is it just one or two interesting tracks? I only know it from having seen it on lists and I'm abit curious.
-
White Heat I don't remeber as being excitingly good. One good track is what I remember this for.
-
West Wing is quite okay too.

"unwanted love" is a great modern (not boogie) dancer. The Montclairs seem just a little too early ('72-'74) to be called "modern soul." o.k - just call it uptempo soul dancer - I don't want to start the discussion about modern soul, boogie, etc.…

that's a bit much for that record...especially since that copy clearly has water damage to the label! In my eyes it could like it was just in one of those antistatic innersleeves.

You can check the music video until you find the 45. http://youtube.com/watch?v=FbjPilpEzlE

I have a perfect copy of this: Weldon Irvine - In Harmony - Strata East And I have a very nice copy of this still in shrink: Bill Mason - Gettin Off - Estbound

The Gene Chandler Situation LP on Mercury definitely has some great crossover tracks and its easy to find.

Lil Bastards Lil Jazzy Jay and Cool Supreme use www.hhv.de type in lil and see what comes up.

call people's records in detroit--they usually have a few of those around. dude who wrote that works there, too. How do they price them? I need one too but I don't wanna pay $80 for a NM or $50 for a vg like I've seen them for on ebay recently.

And for anyone that doesn't have the Alice Clark, the lp is much more than just some open drums... If you can cop the lp, cop the lp. This shit has open drums? I never even noticed that. I agree that it's good from start to end but the two stando…

This one ranks as one of the finest crossover tunes to me. The flip is brilliant as well. Eventhough it's one of my favourites I'm still satisfied with the expansion reissue.

surriously. nice How much is that one these days? ^^^^ It was listed in the third Manship guide for something like ??800, but I suspect it would go for considerably more than that today. I think they were originally from Dallas, actually. …

I always check these texas rap threads. So keep 'em coming. I know so little about the scene downsouth and want to explore it further as I've been feeling some the stuff from beneath the surface that I've checked. It's a shame that the thread turne…

I dig that Ebony Jam Band LP. yeah and it doesn't seem all that expensive nowadays. I also dig the Bobby Glenn LP. "Hey Love" is great. Should be availeble for around $50. A nice LP for the money IMO.
-
One has a black and white cover, the other is in color. I'm assuming the black/white came first. Actually the color one came out first. 1st press (colored cover) is way harder to come by.

Don't know how to post videos like you do but check this one... http://youtube.com/watch?v=LzJh5V38W1E

Can I ask you in which interview was it mentioned that Marc Moulin was playing on the "Jazz Goes Swinging" on Europa LP? I think it would have been more collectable if it was stated who played on it.

No disrespect to you, but aren't there more-deserving causes in this world worthy of attention? true, but being part of this doesn't exclude you from participating in the others. Who cares about another rapper in lock-up? He'll probably sell more…
