Mix of funk and free jazz, very cool record.. Yeah, I'd say more jazz than funk, but it's a great record. There's no quick funk fixes on it - you have to sit down and listen to a whole side to really get into it, but I like it a lot.

Thanks for the recommendations, everybody. The uptempo part is because I'm generally looking for dancefloor cuts, and the others that I have work well. It's also nice to hear that there are some good less expensive ones out there, too.
