I know there is the new music thread, but let's keep it specific about House Music in this one...for me, Disclosure are killing it right now. Is it really true that one of them is only 17, thus not allowed to be in Pubs? Damn...this track is doing it for me right now, a true masterpiece...add yours...

In terms of things to look for, lately 'Ive really been feeling a lot of house music from these two labels
Clone Royal Oak
100% Silk
I actually clicked on this thread with the sole intention of posting this tune. Never heard of Disclosure until this was posted on The Fader the other week, but they're definitely on my radar now. This and the Storm Queen singles have probably been my favourite house joints over the last few years.
this is a little older tune, but does it for me also
this one is now top 40 status - I discovered it in the club in my defense - hundreds of hands in the air and people huggin each other and shit
Heard this joint the other night, its dope! Came out last year though but if yall missed it check it out!
Some recent favorites:
And one of the biggest tracks from last year:
Larry Heard - Still number 1. For some reason the instrumental version is not included on the 12".
Best track for me from 2011:
SHAMELESS SELF PLUGGIN:
My duo Eighties Children, will be dropping our debut 12" in a couple of months on this label: http://soundcloud.com/geography - it'll be deep!
Not sure I would classify them purely as house though. Or people like Machinedrum, blawan and all the kinda hybrid UK stuff.
Some thing I play out at the moment:
And the 12" A Drummer from detroit, which I can't find on youtube.
Love the vocal sample, but it takes too long to come in! Don't want to wait three and a half minutes! I would've based the whole track around that somehow. Soulful, longing, brilliant.
Shit, I feel like I'm complaining about elbows. Great track. Great video.
Nah, I'm not that impressed with it. It's a bit "meh".
that always f***ing awesome.
I kinda like that medlar track, but I wish there would be a dub version without that annoying "uhh, yeah" sample.
i'm really digging this sort of fuck-a-genre stuff these guys have been putting out-- a lot of it pays homage to deep house and classics but throws the rules out of the window
Also, the homey Suzanne Kraft aka Diego from Dublab recently dropped some wax. He's a little in the same vein as SFV Acid
This shit is smooth than a mug

It's the same dude who did this sort of stuff back in the day:
wow, is this really the same dude? :bug:
his new stuff is not my cup of tea, but i gues it is the kind of music a lot of mature black people over 50 are enjoying.
Anyway, great that he is still around.
glad you dig the Eli Escobar 12"!
My group Trap.Avoid is also on Dither Down...good label doing good things! Check out the Neurotic Drum Band and Sal Principato remix of our tune "Little Countries":
